MI 10 PRO REMOVED FROM OFFICIAL STORES TO MAKE WAY FOR THE XIAOMI MI 11

In February of this year, the premiere of the flagships Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro took place. These smartphones have identical design and specs; except that the Pro version is available with 12/512 GB, but the basic version is not; and the other differences concerned the fast-charging power and the main camera. Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has the advantage of a zoom periscope lens with 5x optical zoom. Now, it seems that the company is preparing for its successors – the Xiaomi Mi 11 series.

Mi 10 Pro removed from official stores to make way for the Xiaomi Mi 11

And now, almost 8 months after the release of the Mi 10 series; it disappeared from the shelves of the largest online stores and even from the official store of the company. Everything indicates that we are not dealing with a shortage; but with the fact that Xiaomi has cut production of the Mi 10 Pro.

It could be assumed that the company took this step to promote the Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition or Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra. But no, because the flagship has left the race at the initiative of the company itself. Lei Jun made a statement that the demand for the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra exceeded all expectations and thanked the fans for such a warm welcome of the device. The company only needs to sell the remaining small stock of this smartphone.

It looks like the manufacturer is clearing the production lines for the Xiaomi Mi 11, creating a shortage for the company’s flagship models. The new generation of flagships should be available early next year and this will be the first product of the Chinese smartphone manufacturers with Snapdragon 875 on board.
